Policies

Cabin Check-In Time is 4:00 p.m. 

House Check-In Time is 4:00 p.m.

Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.

Reservations must be made with a valid major credit card.

Payment for the full rental is due 60 days before check-in & if less than 60 days it is due at the time of reservation.

A (2) night minimum stay is required during peak season (May – September)

A (3) night minimum stay is required for ALL HOLIDAYS.

RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE BY PERSONS 25 YEARS OF AGE AND OVER.

USE OF ANY MOTORIZED RECREATIONAL VEHICLE IS PROHIBITED. Whiskey Mountain Inn allows BICYCLES ONLY on the hiking trails.

MOTORCYCLISTS ARE WELCOME.  Our property can accommodate parking your motorcycle.

Occupancy

Each cabin has a maximum occupancy based on many factors (beds/septic capabilities, etc.). The number of guests occupying the cabin must be disclosed at the time of rental. If your group is larger than disclosed and larger than the specified maximum, all guests must vacate the property with no refund.

Early Departure

There are no refunds for early departure.

Inclement Weather

There are no refunds for bad weather or bad weather forecasts during your reservation.

Cancellations

CANCELLATION POLICY:  If cancellation is made with less than 60 days’ notice you can re-book for another time or cancel with no refund.

“NO-SHOWS” POLICYPersons who make reservations and do not show up on the arrival date, and who do not call Whiskey Mountain Inn with notice.  “NO-SHOWS” will be charged for the full-time booked.  This policy applies year-round.

HOLIDAY BOOKING CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations for HOLIDAY bookings made less than 60 days before the reservation will be charged for the full time booked.

Our goal is for you to enjoy your stay at Whiskey Mountain Inn and to refund your security deposit to you!  We want you to have a great time, but please respect our property!

Security Deposit

SECURITY DEPOSIT:   We get to know our guests who stay at Whiskey Mountain Inn.  Many of our guests are returning patrons.  We hope that you become one of our returning guests.  We have a $250 refundable security deposit for the cabins and a $500 refundable security deposit for the main house.  We refund this after your checkout if there are no damages or incidentals.  We ask you to respect our property and leave the cabin as you found it.  If you do not, Whiskey Mountain Inn does reserve the right to charge a cleaning/damage fee of up to, and not limited to $250-$500 if the cabin is not left in a clean condition at check-out.  If your credit card is not valid any longer, legal action will be taken.  Have a great time while staying with us, respect our policies and our property, and come back again when you can!

Whiskey Mountain Inn reserves the right to charge a customary cleaning fee and/or repair fee if:  

The cabin is not left in clean condition. 

Wash your dishes, dry and return them where you found them.  During your stay you can put all trash into the outside bins by the cabin and then at the end of your stay, please put all your trash in the dumpster, if not taken to the dumpster we reserve the right to charge $10 per bag.  There is a map in each rental showing you where the dumpster is.

Smoking has occurred in the cabin.

Damage has occurred to the cabin                         

Whiskey Mountain Inn reserves the right to charge replacement fees for linens, bedding, and furnishings found to be missing and/or damaged in the cabins. (All cabins are inventoried.)

Smoking

ALL CABINS ARE NON-SMOKING Smoking is permitted outside only.  There are ash trays and butt cans at each cabin and in the community area.

Rentals Include

Each cabin includes the following:

  • Fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, cookware, dishes and utensils to prepare meals.

  • BBQ pit (charcoal) and picnic table with grilling utensils.

  • Covered front porch with patio furniture to sit, chit chat, read or just do absolutely nothing but enjoy the beautiful Texas Hill Country views!

  • Each bed has a quilt, pillow(s), and a mattress pad. You must BRING your sheets and towels.

  • All Cabins and House have Free Wifi

  • Satellite TV

Rentals Do Not Include

 Each cabin does NOT include the following:

Paper Products & Essentials ***To get you started we do supply you with One of the following:

  • Toilet paper

  • Paper towels

  • Trash bag

  • Coffee and sugar

  • Sheets and Towels

Pets

We love our pets and we welcome you to bring yours!  Your pet must be free of fleas and current on shots.  Your pet will be required to be on a leash at all times on the property.  Please kennel your pet inside the cabin if you leave them alone!  Also, please remember to bring your pet blankets as our quilts on the beds are meant for the human folk!  If your pet brings fleas to our cabins, you will be charged an exterminating fee. 

  • $15.00 non-refundable pet fee – per pet, per night

  • If you fail to include your pet in your reservation, there will be a $100 Fine

  • All pets must be up to date on vaccinations

  • Pets should be treated for ticks and fleas before arrival

  • Your pet must be in a clean condition to stay in the cabin

  • Pets must be leashed outdoors at all times

  • Pets must be at least 6 months of age and house-trained

  • Pets MUST be left in their kennel if you plan to leave them alone in the cabin

  • Pet poop must be scooped

  • If your pet sleeps on the furniture or linens, you will be charged a $25 laundry fee, so please bring your pet blankets

  • Whiskey Mountain Inn reserves the right to charge (up to but not limited to) a $250-$500 pet clean-up fee for soiled floors and carpets in cabins, and any other damages incurred by the pet in and around the property
